Laytime, Demurrage & Despatch
❋ Objective
To train participants in the interpretation of the various clauses of a Voyage Charter Party in order to be able to apply them in calculating the laytime of a vessel with bulk/break-bulk cargo.

The course is ideally suited for operations, shipping/chartering, legal, claims/demurrage, finance and supply‑chain teams. Equipping these roles with laytime calculation skills helps reduce costly miscalculations and maximize profit.

A 10-hour theoretical and practical course where participants learn to interpret the terms of voyage charters, perform practical laytime calculation exercises, and see how their work impacts these issues.
